Wahl's ShowPro replaces the Wahl Deluxe Pet Clipper Kit. The Wahl ShowPro is a vibrating arm clipper with a higher power rating of 12 watts.
The Wahl KM-2 is a much stronger, professional, 2 speed rotary motor clipper with a power rating of 45 watts.
The Wahl KM-2 will cut faster and quieter. A range of detachable / snap-on blades are available separately for the Wahl KM-2. The Wahl ShowPro is packaged with attachment combs but only uses one type of blades which are screwed on. (Replacements available separately).
If you intend clipping many pets or 'styling', the Wahl KM-2 with optional attachments is a good choice. The Wahl KM-2 is also better suited to wooly or fine hair (ie, all hair types).
